first i hope on playing all my ipod apps, then realizing it sucks. Then going to buy some apps. Then realizing im paying $10 more for the same game stretched to a bigger screen..

Pricing is different for every developer.

I have heard about some games being priced at 0.99$ at launch and some at 14.99$ at launch (Mirror's Edge by EA GAMES).

We can say nothing at present.

Yeah, this will be better than civ rev for 1/12 the price. It should be against the law to own an ipad and not have this game.

I believe an iPad version (or upgrade) is coming but I don’t see anything official—except for an iPad mention when Google pulls up the app’s iTunes description.

The most expensive app I’ve ever bought and worth far more than it costs! It gives me my Mac (albeit a little sluggish) in my pocket anywhere I have 3G (once I made it through the hassle of configuring my home router and firewall properly). My iPad won’t have 3G, but it will have a bigger screen.

I use it for two things:

1. Remote Mac control from my couch.

2. Emergency work when I don’t have my laptop with me. (When I travel, I set my iMac to turn on for half an hour every evening—a chance for me to get on it if I need to via VNC.)

This will also be awesome if rumors of a 960x640 iPhone prove true.

Battle for westnoth is a must buy for me as well, I was more thinking on launch day, and this won't be there for that unfortunately.

A lot of real great apps Sooziz, I blast moki, and too mnay others are starting to show up on Appshopper. I think the ipad apps may become as saturated as iPhone apps before too long. Oh well , it's only money....

Flight Control and Board Games are great. Instead of Real Sudoku I would recommend Sudoku HD for iPad. It is much more polished app and it has much more features.

I've only purchased Words with Friends HD and I haven't seen any other game that I'm interested in buying yet. Most of the existing and upcoming games announced so far are based off existing iphone games I already own but I want to see something that really shows off the potential of the iPad :) It might take at least a few months though because it seems most developers have never even touched an actual iPad until yesterday.

Kind of a cheap shot from a new poster. At least the developer of Real Sudoku is on the boards here and is an interested party. I'll put my money on the developer that is accessible and interested in user opinions anytime...
