Ooops, I posted this in the wrong section previously, Flight Control HD is now live, so this is where it should go.

We don't mention or show this feature in the App description because we don't want people to evaluate the game on the basis of a gimmick. Nevertheless we thought it was really cool so we added a map to the game that is '3D', and I mean 3D in the retro sense .

Now that is cool, too bad I had eye surgery when I was a kid so I can't enjoy the Red/Blue 3D glasses. Anyone tried this?

I was holding out on this one but I'm glad I bought it. Graphics look good. It's relaxing and easier to play on the big screen.

It was a cute gimmick, to be sure, but I think I'd rather they go the Gameprom way of having all existing maps 3D viewable in 3D or not (basically allow the player to set the 3D view in options so that those who don't want to bother with the 3D won't have a bunch of maps they can't use and those who do like it can have them ALL in 3D).

There are a lot of movies that will come with 3D glasses - Monsters vs Aliens is probably the last one that I recall having them packed in. Probably Toys R US might have them. You can always go to an arts and crafts store and get the red / cyan cellophane and make your own - not too difficult to do. The better quality ones though will be harder to find, and you would likely have to order them on line. For just casual play, I would go to the arts and crafts store.

Any chance we'll see some enhancements to the gameplay in future updates? I like the variety of maps, and the execution of the overall game is fantastic. The multilayer is quite fun, and though I've yet to try the 3-D, I have heard great things about it.

However, that being said I find much greater depth of play in knock-off's like Harbour Master where I'm managing not only docking but leaving after the cargo unloads, as well as ships that have to hit multiple ports due to carrying multiple colors of cargo. Their addition of tornadoes to shake up the shipping lanes is pretty entertaining too.

The only play variety I've seen in Flight Control is the planes with mandatory landing paths and airports only open when the wind is right. I like these things very much as they add variety into how the game is played, but it seems like there is room for so much more.

I Love your game and not unhappy with my purchase, but I'd also like to see you guys push the envelope a bit more. This game has competitors nipping at its heels and hopefully, if it serves as a wake-up call, that will end up making Flight Control much better.

I know I'd also love to see some form of combo in the game...like perhaps each plane landed on the same runway in succession get an increased multiplier giving you an incentive to, for example, land several blue helicopters in a row (having them just circle about until you're ready to embark on the run).

Found a strange bug, not sure if it's been discovered yet. The in-game leader board shows the letter V (upper case only) as the letter W. Resulting in my name showing as WoodooWyper :) The cloud cell website still has my account as VoodooVyper so it's not a user error.

I love the new Moon Base map, though. Rated as the toughest one yet by the difficulty stars, it has 4 different colored runways, 2 different colored heli-pads (or saucer pads I guess in this case) and lots of uncontrollable asteroids you'll need to carefully avoid. So a cool map but clearly one they'll hope will sell a lot of rewinds. :rolleyes:

Nobody is forcing you to use rewinds, it's just a small additional feature.

meh. So the leaderboards are borked. I play games to try and beat my own high scores and I know I don't cheat against myself...hell, the leaderboards for most games on ios are a mess anyway, IAP or not.
