What's new

New Update brings new features and enhancements!

We've made major improvements to the performance. You should find the game is much faster and smoother now!

Now CastleCraft supports Landscape mode as well as Portrait.

World Chat is free and will always be free for everyone!

- Fixed scouts leaving always from the home city
- Adjusted night and day cycles so the game is brighter and happier
- Fixed a crash that occurred when tapping on battle and march progress

We've also squashed some smaller pesky bugs and made all sorts of improvements under the hood.

Been loving this game so far... Kinda stuck though... I need to upgrade my account so I can upgrade my buildings... But I've still been logging in bout 5 times a day to do what I can till I get an itunes card... But when I do y'all better watch out....

Such a shame. It would have been so nice to have an online empire building game for the iPhone where everyone competed on equals terms, either through a one-time purchase fee (which I gladly would have payed for CastleCraft), or a small subscription fee.

It is not that I am against the whole principle of in-app purchases and DLC. But in an online strategy game, where the main objective is to compete against other players, letting us spend unlimited amounts of money on in-game advantages makes a mockery of the whole competitive principle. I can avoid buying from the in-game shop, but on a server where other players can, the actual competitive elements are still greatly affected (since I cannot CHOOSE to play only with those who spend no money, or the same amount as me).

Freeverse, I hereby announce that I would gladly pay for CastleCraft (one-time, or subscription) to play on a special server with no in-game shop, or one that only sells cosmetic advantages. You have an amazing game here. Please, let us enjoy it in a balanced competitive environment as well.

I really hope they fix plus+ in the next update. Otherwise, this is a mildly entertaining game.

Anyone still playing this? Just tried it out today and first frustration was I couldn't enter a normal realm. Are new players sent to challenge mode to learn the game first? Other than that the graphics are completely awesome, too bad there isn't a more streamlined realm selection. I want to be part of TouchArcadia!

There seem to be a lot of active players (I'm on Adalaide), and new servers/slots on existing servers open up regularly. You can play on multiple servers at once, so there's no reason not to create an account on a challenge server just to learn your way around.
