I can't get this to work right at all. The controls are completely unresponsive, even after a reinstall and a reboot. The flippers seem to work randomly and I can't get the plunger to shoot the ball to work reliably. In its current state it appears unplayable right now - unless I am doing something wrong which is always a possibility.

Wow, it looks  but is not working properly. As noted above the controls are not responding and screen orientation is moving randomly.

Devs: Please Fix! This looks like an awesome game!

Unplayable right now.....

Looks fantastic tough...

Sounds to me like it might be a product of not having direct access to the device prior to launch. I'm sure the dev will fix this once they can get their hands on one.

You guessed it - the iPad version was passed by apple after obviously missing fatal functionality errors! We obviously wanted to give it a chance, our in-house testing had gone relatively smoothly and so submitted the app not expecting it to be passed if it didn't work... so anyway YES there is an update due - hopefully early May after thorough testing. Thank you to everyone who bought the app! Ultra sorry its not working yet but when it is hopefully the wait won't have been so bad :) all the best.

Only in May?

Wow, it is kind of surprising for me.

To be honest, I tried to ask a refund with Apple and they said that they could not do it and ask me to contact the developer, which, btw, I did.

I personally think that devs should do something for those who bought the game as early adopters to try to mitigate the frustration.

I understand that most no one had access to the iPad before the launch, but even though, other developers faced the same problem and fixed it in a much shorter time.

Give promo codes for Monster Pinball in the mean time (by PM, not a promo code list to a lot of code suckers to use and do not even bother to say that they took a code).

I would love to play it on the iPad, but I will not buy anymore products from them before making sure it is playable.

Was this a major bug that required a major re-write? I understand the game being released in it's current state, there isn't anything you can do without having the actual device to develop on. And, it's BS that Apple released it. But I do think that a month to fix the bug is a bit much, maybe you can chime in and there is good reason.

Any news on update on this piece of joke?

The developer told me it would be coming in July

They said that they didn't get an iPad until late international release

I wonder how gameprom, faced with 4 much more intense and complex 3d pinball games, also in international territory, was able to get it so right back in April, and fix issues within days.

This game by matmi was pulled in April for some very small issues...here we are in July.

Oh well, I hope they got a lot done in the meantime - no new games or anything, but I'm sure it was time well spent ;)
