It looks great, but definitely would get on my nerves if I were to visit it even weekly for whatever reason. I don't really have a favorite, not cuz there aren't any good website out there, but the ones I regularly visit keep on changing for the worst, apparently trying to keep up with the Web 2.0 standard.

Yeah, the new trend within design seems to be minimalist and functional (which I enjoy). 2advanced has always had the really 'flashy' flash intro that was very motion graphics heavy. I like motion graphics, but only when it's used well and appropriate. I don't want to see a flash heavy non-skippable intro for someone's pencil drawing portfolio.
