All Apple products have a cycle as to when a new version is released. I really hope the iPad isn't refreshed every year. I know you all think I'm crazy because everyone wants it to have a few more feature (see: Camera). Having already purchased one, I think because the iPad is perfect at what is was intended for: reading, an in-between iPhone/Mac, etc. It is also extremely fast.
Because it is more of a computer, I really hope Apple waits at least two years before a refresh.

Thoughts?

Why does it matter? If a new model comes out every year it doesn't mean you have to buy it.

+1 If you don't want a new model in a year then wait longer.

It matters because:
1. New is always better.
2. Apple makes it seem important.
3. Who doesn't want new?

It's your own fault for being tempted into buying new versions of existing products every year.

So there's three good reasons, now what was this topic about?

The hardware could use some tweaks. A little more battery life, maybe, and a camera would be nice. Maybe a OLED screen. But as of right now, I'm more concerned about the software, multi-tasking, and the use of more powerful desktop programs. I'm definitely all for refreshing it. That way, I'd be able to treat it more like a computer, which I keep for more than 3 years at least.

I want it to get better as quickly as possible, so that I can get one!
