I've spent $53.92 (tax not included). All but one of the apps I've bought was a game. I really shouldn't have spent so much X_X
How about you?
EDIT: Darn it, I typoed on Store in the poll.

About 170 euros. Slowing down a bit; the novelty has worn off and now I'm looking for good titles not just buying anything with amazement the iPhone can do games.

I'm well over $350 now, and I'm sitting on a $312.57 iTMS balance. Had to get ready for SimCity, Rolando, and NFS! :D
I spent about $200 in July/August and then slowed WAY down, but this past week I've started up again - I've bought several new games (BIA, Hero of Sparta, etc) so I guess I'm getting back into it. I'll probably blow through $100 in December alone. :(

I try and limit myself to 1 £20 card a month. This system works pretty well, but if more £5.99 games come out then I may have to increase how many I buy... :)

I spent about 90 Euros so far. Mostly on more expensive games. I have about 80% of Gameloft's catalogue, in addition to stuff like Trism, X-Plane and Fastlane.
There's also the usual stuff like Enigmo, Antimatter, Fuzzle, etc. But most of those are either 99 cent sales or giveaway items.
Surprisingly enough, I spent next to nothing on utility apps. The only paid apps that aren't games are Wunder Radio, Tuner and Sketches.
December's going to be expensive for me. Already got Ferrari GT, and I want at least Sim City too. :D

I'm not proud to say this, but I've spent over $1,200 in the AppStore since March of 2009. That includes some iTunes purchases, but mostly apps. I have no idea how I spent that much either. I know I'm super addicted to purchasing these apps though. I buy almost all new games and I never wait for sales. I even bought Alchemize when it was $9.99. Yeah I've spent way too much. Am I gonna stop? Not at all.

I have no regrets spending the money I have in the AppStore. I know a guy who spends a grand a week on dope. So, as I see it, this is nothing. I have noticed that there are so many cheap people buying apps though. If a game is over a buck or two, people complain. I come from the days of an Atari 2600 game selling for $40. So dropping $4.99, $6.99 or even $9.99 really doesn't seem that big of deal.

I once had my iPod jailbroken. It got stuck in the infinite reboot loop for 2 days and I had to restore it in iTunes. Cydia is no longer my friend

May as well carry on with the thread then.
I've spent OF MY OWN MONEY (so straight from my credit card):
£1.19/$1.99 - Beatrider
£1.79/$2.99 - Doom
£0.59/$0.99 - Bloons
£0.59/$0.99 - Defender Chronicles
That's...£4.16/$6.96.
I have spent probably over $20 from gift cards etc.

Last I checked, I spent around $74 or so on apps.
But I honestly don't mind since a new PS3/Xbox 360 game costs $60 + tax. So for the price of a new console game + $15, I have more than 100+ games at my disposal.

Around $350 total. Some of that is from gift cards but it is still a lot of money to spend on games and apps over one year.

It'd be interesting to see how much people pay in the App store in relation to what kind of device / phone plan they have.
After paying for a data and voice plan, I can't see most people spending more than $5/month on apps every now and then.
I'm a newbie to the iphone and have only about $25 worth of apps.

I've spent well over that, and only one wasn't a real game, more or less an entertainment app (that being Pocket God). Other than that, I don't even bother with movies or music anymore on iTunes, I just head straight for the appstore whenever I get a card. Plus it's definetly on par with many systems today, but with alot more games for a lower price. Just too tempting.
And i was in the over 100 category. Just an estimate I might be a bit below that.

Your pole should be: Less than $10... Less than $50... Less than $100, Less than $500... and finally more than $500.
I would qualify for the latter, as would most others I'm sure.

Do you know how old this pole is...back them there weren't a lot of game to choose from and the appstore wasn't as big as market it is today with all this competition.
It makes better sense making a new thread...btw I spent over 500

Without checking my invoices, I'd guess I've spent around $400.
Some of it went to games I don't play very much, but I ain't got no regrets.
I love my phone. You may try to pry it from my cold dead hands.

So, what's your point? I answered the question fairly when the thread got bumped up. It was the first time I happened to read it.

hehe, ALOT more then $100. I bought 'Tom Tom West Europe' which is already €99,99... I'm at €172,68 (almost $200 i think...) now and I have my iPhone only for 2 months now
Most of the people here at TA have probably paid more than $100 dollars. There are quite of few apps that are pretty expensive. ;)
