I had this one on my wishlist waiting for a price drop after trying the iPhone version on my iPad. The iPhone version seemed to be a decent, but not great game. For $.99, though, it will be worth giving the iPad version a try.

It looks much better than the iPhone version at 2x. In terms of visuals it's worth it. I don't mind BIA2, Sandstorm at 2x though. FWIW.

Anyone know if statistics are viewable anywhere besides facebook or twitter? Kids are trying to unlock the characters and maps but I don't know which tracks they've played or won.

I had held off on buying this because (and I may not have looked thoroughly enough) I couldn't see if there were touch controls... I like the option. I finally got it, and thankfully it does :) actually pretty good fun too.

Good game, worth $.99. I like how each character has a special ability that is regenerated every 30 seconds. My biggest complaint is that there are no character voices. I was expecting character phrases throughout the face as characters bump into eachother, etc. At least a single word from each. That would have really added to the world.

I was surprised by that too. I was expected Shrek to spew out something like 'Outta my ogre way!' But then we'd probably turn them off because the voices would be too much. But biggest complaint is having to restart the gum drop tournament over and over. I don't know how I'm the only one with this problem, but everytime I complete the course and it says I opened the next cup. I go to start the next race on the new cup, and well I'm exhausted and need a break. I try to go back to the game later and it says I never completed the gum drop course. And yes I resetted the ipad already...

Great buy at 99 cents. Only complaint so far is having to reconfigure my control layout each time I open the app. Shouldn't this be a savable option?

I actually held off on buying this b/c personally I find this film franchise quite annoying and would not want to listen to a bunch of clips of that stuff. I can ignore the characters easily but that would get on my nerves. Now I am considering picking this up, so thanks. ;)

When looking what game to drop to free some space, I tried Shrek Karting that was sleeping on my iPad since some time, and I really got surprised how good the game is, I mean very good.

Ok it could not compare with Mario Cart that I never played so I can't say, but the Tilt controls work so fine and that's so pleasant when they does, I doubt Mario Cart on DS could compete because of the controls. And the game is dynamic and fun, the races well done, the special powers and special attacks well done, the turning with drift trick is very fun, and the whole look rather good. Second best gameloft game I know after Super Brick Breaker Deluxe 2.

Hi, Im I bought this game for the iPhone. My main purpose for buying it, was because it was Bluetooth and Wifi Multiplayer. When trying to host a game on my iPhone 4, it wont work, when connecting to a iPhone 2G. Any clue why?

Man I'm certainly more lazy than you, connect, open the iphone thread, click on extended search, check title option at left and paste in search area: Shrek Kart
And submit and you should find it. :)
