I don't really care. Good for you guys, but I think macs are kinda lame....

Buy a PC, catch up with the times!

Gotta love them iPod Touches and iPads though ;)

Isnt that statement backwards? Im pretty sure that the number of Mac buyers increases every year.

Mmm.... but I'm still talking about gaming here.

Anyway, I don't think Macs are inherently bad but.... I think this picture best describes my opinion of computers:

Some how I just can't see a blue collar employee working on a skyscraper in his cubicle living off of doughnuts and coffee riding that.

Neither can I. What does that have to do with anything?

Just that most people that I had described use PCs

PCs are like assholes, everyone's got one but they don't want to admit it. Any who i will be playing L4D2 and UT3 Black edition as soon as i install steam!

I'll admit it. I'll also admit that my MacBook f***ed up the other day by resetting it's time and date which in turn killed the airport somehow and also stopped me accessing Adium, Dropbox and a ton of other apps even after I'd managed to get it back to normal. Can't remember the last time my PC went wrong.

....

So essentially you're saying "PC's are like assholes, everyone hates them... I can't wait to install this PC spawn (faeces) on my Mac! Who wants to play with me!"

Mmmm....

BTW, I've seen these articles about Valve bringing Steam to the Mac. But, have they confirmed that it means all their titles are coming to the Mac too? As in, is it a "Steam client for Mac", or is it "Steam and Valve games for Mac"?

"- It will be Intel only, PowerPC will not be supported.
- Source games will not run are not supported on the X3100 or 900-series Intel chipsets. An anonymous source in the Beta program told me that while the X3100 and 900-series GMAs are not officially supported, you can still run Mac Portal, and get 10-15 FPS on lowest settings on the X3100.

- Steam Play mean[s] that you do not need to purchase separate Windows and Mac versions of the same game. Implementation will probably depend on the publisher. ]
- The Steam Overlay will require "Enable access for assistive devices" checked in System Preferences -> Universal Access.
- (Some?) games will require the Windows Media Components for Quicktime.
- Mac games will get their own category automatically.
- The Steam Store may sell Mac-exclusive games.
- It will not be released on Monday the 26th, but will come later. GameInformer allegedly pins the release to May, despite Valve announcing April.
- Steam and Source will run natively, not through Wine/Cider/Crossover/etc.
- Source will run on OpenGL.
- Mac OS X will be treated "as a tier-1 platform."
- Mac OS X and Windows users will play on the same servers, join the same lobbies, etc.

Found this and it may be just what betas say but it clears some things

It is a Steam Client for mac. Soon they will have all of the games available for mac, but only a certain amount on the release date (I think this is the case.) The PC versions of games will be released simultaneously alongside the Mac versions. So I can finally play MW2 on my Mac....sometime in the future.

I bought Portal for PC one day, and Cider'd it (which took about a week's time of work). I could finally play it on my Mac, however, the bonuses don't work. So glad that I can finally get them.

You know what we need next? Steam for iPad! :p

I wish the Source tools come over too. I know that's probably asking for too much, but nothing wrong in wishing, right? :)
