Ngmoco coming out with TouchPets Dogs (Approved)

Honestly, at this point, I've had it up to here with ngmoco! Yes, their games IMO are extremely well-polished and usually high-quality, but as a company, they do stupid stuff all the time. I payed full price for both the Rolando titles and they quickly lowered the prices soon after their release dates and such (not to mention the whole "Rolando 1 is going away soon, buy it now!" stunt that never actually happened and I fell for). It's like that deal with Apple lowering the price of the iPhone soon after the first version came out, except ngmoco doesn't have to do crap about it. Also, I have been waiting for TouchPets: Dogs FOR FREAKIN EVER, the fact that they named it "TouchPets: Dogs" with a colon and subtitle hints that they will make like a "TouchPets: Cats" - just imagine how long it will take them to make that. Ngmoco has been horribly unreliable with information and constant updates about this title and as we finally hear that they may (and for real this time) be close to submitting it, they say that there is no offline mode? I mean WTH you plan to have a best-seller with that horrible aspect? Despite this all, I still am dying for the game to come out and being the sucker I am, will probably still buy it on release day none-the-less almost no matter what, but it better be freakin good...OR ELSE

Yes Finally someone who wants this game as bad as I do. I love the dogs and can not have my on. I use too have a sheltie and my husband of 18 years left me for my best friend and I had too find her a home though sheltie rescue.I miss her she was my best friend. I want this game

Well they submitted it (presumably) at the same time they submitted Eliminate, and Allen just confirmed that Eliminate is still in review with Apple. With that in mind, it is likely Touch Pets is still in review as well.

I hope they approve it soon. I know they have turned down one game I wanted Totemo. They said something about the API. I think it would be a great game. It looks like there going too try too make us pay for everything extra we buy for a game

I don't necessarily think less people would be interested in Touch Pets. Just less people on this website. Touch Pets could be incredibly successful if they market it to the right people. Unfortunately, it looks like they're just dumping it out on on the market with little promotion.

Yeah, I'll definitely be grabbing both. Even now, I have no idea whether or not I'll enjoy TPD. Still, I have a lot of trust in Ngmoco's ability to deliver a great game, so I'll just pick it up and see.

Somewhere on their twitter, they announced both were submitted some time mid last week.

No idea on price. I think I heard they were doing something similar to Eliminate (not necessarily on the "free" part, but on the energy system), but there hasn't been any confirmation of anything.

I hope we see both games next week. Why would it take energy too play touchpets. I would be glad to pay for packs for touchpets clothing, games for the dogs. But i do not think you should be forced too play online too buy upgrades on any game.You may not always have away of getting on line. I do not like this and would like too know how touchpets will work. I want them too talk too us about touchpets like they did Eliminate. This way of buying games may stop me form buying from Apple.

I used to play Nintendogs all the time until someone stole it when there was a party, and now, its a my friends house because his cousin stole it. I think he still has my mario party 64 too. Anyways, I did love my virtual dog very much and it would be a great time to share it with other people :P

This game looks so well-polished. I've been searching up all the videos on YouTube I can find about it and I'm beyond excited. This is going to be amazingly cool. It's like the ultimate combination of Nintendogs and Petz (the "older" computer games by the Petz company, not the DS & Wii versions...)

It's basically where you can travel to other dog owners and meet up with them to be their playdate, not quite shure if it's acually online multiplayer. It comes with clothes to buy so you can decorate your dog. In the beginning, you'll be brought to a pet store and you get to choose what kind of pet you want.

For the price, I'd say expect anywhere around $4.99 - $9.99 and there are currently seven dog breeds plus some "robot" and "water" dogs. I don't really understand what is meant by the latter, but they are both mentioned on the TouchPets: Dogs Facebook Page and I have seen the menu option with a small icon picture for Robot Dogs in a YouTube test video.

Apple doesn't care, acknowledge, or probably even know about our begging, they just approve them when they get to them or when they want. Let's hope for the best with this week being a possibility for their release but I do agree that a crazy date like the 25th makes sense. It just all randomly depends on how fast Apple is approving apps during this time frame... =(

We all know Apple does not care about us only the money they can get out of us. I can not believe the thread for Eliminate tells me how many people want too shoot there friends. I like the doggies. We shall see but I think we may be waiting until next Monday. Not as far off as it was. They have to make money for Christmas.

watching some gameplay video again of nintendogs after 3 years makes touchpet dogs so inferior with the graphics and animations alone. The DS has some poor graphics but they made a really good one on nintendogs.

Excuse me We all have been patient. They have been talking about releasing Touchpets since Feb. It has had many release dates spring, summer, mid summer, late summer. now we are into fall going into winter. Apple has these games and ngmoco is talking too everyone about Eliminate but not Touchpets.
There not talking too anyone about touchpets and I have asked. I give up we may see these games next year who knows.

That would be great too see it today. But don't you guys wonder what they are waiting on. They have too make money this is the time to do it. Why hold the games and Eliminate is the one getting the most attention so I would release it first. But if I was worried about the servers I would release touchpets first. I think there going to get run over when they release Eliminate.But the kids will want it free. Just think how many kids can buy the energy. It is going too be the older people like me and the others that have jobs and money that buy the stuff.The younger most have too get cards are ask there parents if they can buy it. We will see,if they hold off too long no one maybe interested. I have already invested in another device. Apple takes way too long.
