My friends wifi recently messed up and he doesnt know what the password is to his wifi. I was wondering if theres an app that gives you information on a wifi signal including what its password is

like his WEP key to get on his wifi? Or like his SSH password?

Depends if it's just WEP or if it is WPA encrypted.

If it's the former than your friend doesn't deserve WiFi.

you can reset your router
theres usually a pin hole button that you can press underneath the router

press that and then set up your router again, this time get him to write down the password
