I wanted to try to play an ipad app but many require 3.2 and I have 3.1.3.
Is there a trick to make the game think I have the right OS?

its portable. haha whatevs, your missing out :D
but to answer the question, most games would not even be capable of a modded downgrade. it would take some rewrites and such in XCode

Portable doesn't mean carrying a huge plate everywhere, whilst tapping/tilting it like crazy, at least with an iPod touch it doesn't look AS crazy xD
I'm pretty sure there's a hack or something for this.. I've seen something about it somewhere

I've seen it as well but it runs terribly.

The ipad games are made for a faster cpu and higher resolutions. It would work on a 3GS but depending on the game it would struggle and most text would be hard if not impossible to read
