Jailbreaking question

I have a iPhone 3G. If I jailbreak it using Pwnage tool 2.0 is there a chance that it may brick my iPhone 3G?

There's always a risk involved with anything, but I haven't heard of a single brick yet. The chances are incredibly, very, super slim.

I dont think theres a way to brick it since theres always DFU (recovery) mode.
