If it plays well, it is probably worth the price, too bad the dev didn't mention the change from free since some of us were watching this for the last few months.

I have not seen one yet, and unfortunately no impressions either. I am pretty sure that Espada will be on the boards before too long. We'll see what they say about the change from free but I can't really blame them - I thought it was crazy from the beginning. I'm more interested in how it plays. I thought that there were some issues with frame rate, etc with their Battle of the Block game..

also - it now has 15 5 star reviews... Hmm.....

There is only one rather easy type of solitaire inside (Klondike) and the graphics aren't as good as the first screenshot, but it's very well playable on iPhone 3G. Thanks.

I guess the free was for the hemisphere opposite the US... Since not too many people are up at 1 AM, and was not free by 8 Am from the posts above... Oh well - serves me right for expecting to sleep at night, and work during the day...

Hopefully Espada will correct this as it appears that they really did intend to make it free for at least opening day. If not, - well I will wait on impressions...

The dev sort of implies that the visuals become intrinsic to the game play?? Do the gears get involved, or is everything steampunk strictly visual environment, and the game is klondike, albeit nice looking?

This looked good and it is probably a game I would have purchased -- especially at $0.99. Lord knows, I've bought waaaay too many apps so far! :-)

However, I am not overly impressed by how the publisher is doing business. There is too much saying one thing and doing another, being visible and then disappearing, etc. I prefer to support independent developers that treat their customers with respect.
