Hey guys,
im thinking of jailbraking my iphone, but will i lose all my apps?
my main concern, is my iMob online - I would be devastated if i lost all that data in that game.
what steps do i need to take, to make sure i dont lose anything on that game, or on any if possible.

You do lose all your saved game data, but isnt iMob online based on your account so if you resign in with your account dont you still have your data?
Also I think you can back up all of your data onto your computer but im not sure how....so dont quote me on it.
Jailbreak it for sure though, adds so much to your iphone

imob doesnt have a sign in thing, which is what is worrying me.
first time you install, you choose a username and play.
if it wipes my phone, i dont want it to say "username already exists" when i re-install it.
i can right click in itunes > backup, could i restore it all after i have jailbroke my iphone?

Hmm, you may lose your data....but its worth it.
I lost all of mine and really didnt even care, I was too busy messing around with Winterboard and stuff to even notice.
When you jailbreak, thanks to the guys at Zodttd.com, you can play almost any GBA, GBC, SNES, and SEGA Genesis game ever made.
Trust me, you wont be playing App Store apps nearly as much.
If you need any help with the JB ask me :)

thats a thread from the iMob website forums.
Apparently if you lose your data b/c you changed firmware or w/e, you can e-mail the Dev's and they will restore your account :)
Im going to go shower now, ill bbk in 5 mins if you need any help with what programs to use for the JB (if you decide to go through with it)

you wont lose your imob info - its an online game and all of your data is stored on their online database

no it all works fine, just dl the recent firmware (though i think u should already have it since u updated to that)
Run Quickpwn and your golden. Id suggest not turning on boot logos if you Jailbreak though cause if it breaks or somethign and the guys at the Apple store try to turn on seeing the pwnapple will be an auto warranty voider

but if anything goes wrong, i should still be able to restore using the home/power button and re-downloading 2.2.1 through itunes right?
... making it back to default 2.2.1

i cant find the file on my PC,
is there a link to the UK version of 2.2.1 ?
or is there only 1 version of the firmware, not a UK one?
if so, i can see the download link for that one on QPwns website. :)
