Under your settings/general/about, scroll down to "model" and it will either start with MC (MC model) or MB (not MC model). At least, that's what I think it is, I could be wrong though.

ok no there is not a jb for ios4
but u can DFU restore to 3.x and use spirit or blackra1n

you are all wrong there is a redsn0w jailbreak for ios4 and if you just search on utube it will tell you everything o and one of the models prevent you from jailbreaking I think it is mb though

There currently is not one. The dev team is most likely waiting for a major iOS4 update to release out jailbreak.
