Yet another example of just how, uh... dedicated Korean gamers can get. Overkill?

Yeah... This is the reason why I suck at RTS games when playing online. At least in a local game, I'm playing against someone who I know isn't a fanatic.

It'd be a good idea for games to keep a record of your APM and use it as part of the matchmaking process. If those guys wanna get that into the game then fair enough, but it really is gonna kill the experience for any casual gamer that meets them.

My APM is a little above 200, so I don't think my Sensei will allow me to compete in a competition yet.

For some people, Starcraft is important. As much as they spend a lot of time playing the game, they are aiming for something. They're not just playing for fun. If you look up Boxer, his annual salary is over $300,000 for playing Starcraft. Obviously it's unlikely that the players in the video will be making that much, but getting $5000-10,000 is still pretty good.
I remember when I used to care about APM.. the highest I got to was about 160 and my friend was 190-200.

I hope it's from tournaments. It's hard to see him being forced to play full time at an hourly rate :P In addition to the $300,000 annual salary, he gets $90,000 from his endorsement contracts.
