Backup saved games?

Haven't jailbroken my iPod touch yet but I'm wondering about saved games. How do I back them up if I can can? The only one I'm really concerned about is The quest.

right click your iphone in itunes, and select backup....

This will save my position in the game also?

it saved all my saved games, sway, imob, aqua moto, tap tap etc etc

i noticed when i tried to jailbreak, that its best to do a full blank restore back to the original firmware (completely clean)

then to right click the iphone > restore from backup (the one you just made)

then to jailbreak

then to install all your apps again (ie install sway, and your saved game will be there in the game)

after you jailbreak, look for the two apps: Chronus and appbackup. I use Chronus (it's not entirely free, but the pro version is pretty cheap, and the free version isn't too bad). After you backup you can use SSH to copy the backup files to your computers hard drive. This way worse case scenario you can restore your data files by copying the backup files back to the ipod later. I don't really trust itunes backup, it's screwed me in the past.
