View Full Version : Major hassles downgrading to 3.1.3 and 3.1.2
I've got an original iPod touch 2G, and had it on 3.1.2 jailbroken for a while, and had an easy enough time downgrading to 3.1.2 even though I bought it second hand with the then latest 3.1.3.
I'm now trying to get back down from 4.0, and it's not working. I've tried iTunes 9.0.2, 9.1.1, both 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 IPSWs, changing the hosts file to point to cydia - all no go, error 3194 strikes every single time.
So how do I go about this? What detail am I missing? Is there an option to go all the way back to 2.2.1 if I want to?
