Along with the update to Block Knights, BitCaper has began conceptualizing some art work for their next project! Details are limited at this time. But I can let you know that the game will be an arcade space shooter with some twists that we hope will set us apart from the others. Here is the first piece of concept art:

Edit: A few concepts of ships

We are currently getting some more artwork together and deciding on a name. Once that is all ready to go, we will "officially" announce this title in a new thread with more details about game play and overall concept. We hope all this will go down sometime next week:D

I'm betting it's a top down shooter, judging from the ships :D

Those graphics look like really bad clip art/esurance commercial stuff.

When are people going to get away from making everything from vectors and get a real pencil out.

This is concept material, though, so naturally it's a bit simple and rough around the edges.

That said - drawing something with an actual pencil and then having to scan it in will invariably still require digital editing to make it clean and sharp, and ultimately will take more time to do than just using the trusty vectors.

Well from the concept art I really can't tell much. All it shows are some spaceships, asteroids, and some weird looking lady.

Looks interesting though.

yeah the character was done with pencil first then inked then taken into PS and cell shaded, only the ships are vector (done in Illustrator) and they were still drafted out in pencil first...

Anyways I'm glad this topic came back up. Because if all goes according to plan we will be making an official announcement of this game very soon (within the next few days). It will include the name of the game, some more details about gameplay and will have some more concept/promotional art. We are very excited about this title and can't wait to share it with you guys!
