need urgent help with jailbroken 2g!

Hey, I have a jailbroken 2g. This is the original release, and I have not updated it to the release that lets you boot back into the unjailbroken ipod. Well, my computer crashed, and the motherboard is fried. I am on a laptop that does not have my original itunes library or anything, and when I try the autoboot tool, it does not do anything. So I was wondering, what am I doing wrong? What do I need to do to get my jailbroken 2g to boot on another computer? Thank you, any help is appreciated!
