Great, that the sound volume relates to the distance.
Looks VERY polished. I'm in for that.

I posted this on the other thread...The video looks great, but honestly, not sure yet about the gameplay. Placing defenses and trying to maneuver on a round surface may not be ideal. That's just my initial impression, but still looking forward to this probably in another month.

it looks awesome.
but i hope it will be more nice for gamer then first contact...

Agreed. I think First Contact is good for what it is, which is Missile Command-type play, but it could be more.

This looks terrific, definitely buying it ASAP.
Although I agree with you BigAlbie, it might be awkward.
Did anyone know that 'ngmoco' is an acronym for Next Generation Mobile Company?

Awesome ngmoco.....the amount of polish is always good with their games like em or not but lately it's insane how good looking their games are.

Curious why nintendo DS tower defense never took off. Think it has two homebrew apps called Tower Defence and Balloon Pop. Lock's Quest and NinjaTown. So basically in a nutshell they all suck on DS. No idea why they flourish so well on iphone. Not complaining at all just seems like Nintendo must've squashed most tower defence attempts.

Not really that into tower defense games but this does look interesting. Will def check out the reviews when it launches.

The 3d worlds remind me of super mario galaxy on wii! :cool:

I think this looks really really cool, I just can't help but wonder what benefits having a 3D orb of a level has over a traditional 2D map in terms of gameplay? Is it not just a bit more of an inconvenience having to constantly scroll around the planet?

I'm sure it's awesome, I'm just playing devils advocate a bit here I guess.

Another Tower Defense game? Next thing you know NGMoco will announce a match 3 game.

Although the wrapping around the sphere does look pretty cool. Similar to First Contact (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=303934040&mt=8) and Spheroids (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=303618716&mt=8).

It looks really great. If they price it well it may be the first TD game to pass Fieldrunners on the charts. I have a feeling Fieldrunners is about to have saturated the market to the point where people who would buy it already have. Anyways, ngmoco always releases quality products so I have no doubt this will be good.
