It'll probably roll out like NZ releases and show up in yours store whenever NZ releases are supposed to show up (except maybe US, as EA does have different pricing strategies for the US and Intl versions). Actually, I think EA is trying to help keep their games afloat in the ranks even with all these new releases which could easily knock them down. Hence the sale the same day as a massive release day. PLUS next week the app store freezes so whatever games are in the ranks at the end of this week get prime time spots for the holiday shoppers to see. :rolleyes:

Incredible sale. What's amazing about it though is there's not much I'm that interested in. There's just too many other titles coming out tonight and, even at $.99, I don't think I'm buying anything.

Already had Madden 11 (son bought it so I got to download it too). Have Mirror's Edge from a previous sale. Got all three Need for Speed games (pissed about Hot Pursuit going to $.99 though -- but, again, my son got it so it's his money that was wasted). Not really into the Sims, even though it's a great buy. Only thing I might have been interested in was Rock Band and it's not part of the sale!

That's what I was wondering. I liked it on the iPhone, but would prefer it on the iPad. I was tempted, but ever since it came out the reviews have been pretty harsh. If it was just a few I could chalk it up to people just being picky, but it seems like the majority of people have the same problems.

At 99 cents you're not out too much if it's buggy, but it just seems like it's a given that I will experience problems with it and it's not worth it.

But comparing the purchase price of the EA games to their RETAIL prices, well... It's just not even possible to consider them in the same zip code.

I'll tell you, I have a history of not necessiarly being on the up-and-up when it comes to "purchasing" games, but with my video games... it's a different thing. And when they put sales like this on, they can easily change someone who may have been considered slightly unscrupulous in the past to someone who is willing to lay down some money.

I could have gotten something like Goo in an "alternate" way, but I really believe in the devs on the system, and the fact that they get 70% of my purchase? That's one area that I'm impressed with Apple..

Anyway, I'm done with my rant. Thank you EA and other developers for allowing people who wouldn't necessarily have the cash to buy them at retail put out the bling for them now...

I get the feeling EA games are going to skyrocket a WHOLE lot of top lists in the app store :)

I guess you should getting Fifa 11 instead , the price is 0.99 , i dont see any reason why you are eyeing Fifa 10 unless you are collector.

I have the game, tried the online, yes its over wifi, and thought it was horrible. Took me like five minutes to get into a game, and the host didn't even start the game!!! really pissed me off.

So I didn't really play any multiplayer.
I just quit the game and went to MC: BP multiplayer.
Much more enjoyable and got into playing in under 30 seconds :)
