Is there an app in Cydia or Installer that will let me record my iPod?

Like a screen recorder; I want to get video on-screen of some stuff.

Since i haven't jailbroken, I don't know, but it would be nice to record my app on the real device (not on the simulator).

So does this app exist in the jailbreak world? I heard it was in the making; but forgot it's name.

Currently there is no such software, would be quite nice though. An alternative is to download Veency from Cydia, which is a VNC server for the iDevices, allowing you to remotely view the device from your computer, which you could then get a screen capture program for your computer. Veency is quite laggy however, as VNC is such a slow protocol. Most of the videos that you see of in game footage is from the SDK simulator.
