No Search in iPhone's iPod feature, WTF!

I just realized that i can not perform a search for a particular artist or song title in my iPhone.

This really sucks !

I know the new 3.0 OS will have a search engine in it, will it also include songs stored in iPod?

Yes. Either find a download for 3.0 or wait.

when i first got my ipod i looked for a while and realized it didnt have it which struck me because the 2nd gen nano has it....

Wait so that feature is in the iPod classic and the iPod nano but not the touch? Hmmm... that's just weird. I'm glad they'll finally add it in 3.0.
