We saw the TV commercial for this game and thought the concept was good.

Anything like that available?

Not that I know of but I have and fully enjoy Prof Layton. If a game like that does come it'll be a first day purchase :) It's kind of sweet how they made a story around a brain teaser game

It's Professor Layton.

And sadly no there is nothing like it on the app store.

It's not a nintendo brand that i'm aware of, it's developed by Level 5, so I suppose it could come at some point.

However, the US has the first game and the second should be coming out soon.

Japan has already received 3 games which make up a trilogy and will get the first game of a new trilogy later this year.

It's basically a point and click game with lots of wonderful puzzles so it's a perfect fit for the iphone. However they may need to rework all the artwork to work on the single screen and the new screen ratio which would be a problem.

I would love to see it happen though.

Level 5 already announced they are starting on a 4th Layton game. While good to know they still need to get the rest out of Japan still

But yes this is a Level 5 IP so they can take it anywhere they want to. I think they even made a cartoon based off it.

That's good info, guys.

Junior has it for his DS, and wifey-poo would like to have it for the iPhone.

Actually it's an animation feature film, and is still in production.
