I have a 2g ipod touch 16gb and I'm kind of a noob with jailbreaking. Does untethered mean that you no longer have to rejailbreak after you reboot your ipod/iphone or would you still have to do that?

Yes, you dont have to plug it to your computer anymore after it turns off.

Yep, untethered doesn't need a computer after you reboot it once you have successfully jailbroken it!

Anybody know when QuickPwn is coming?

EDIT: Or at least if it's possible for a QuickPwn to be made...

Quickpwn will be made; it is possible. They said they will release it during their next cycle, but no one is quite sure when that will be. For now, I would say use Quickfreedom on a PC or Untetherizer on a Mac to get it done, and then re-jailbreak it when Quickpwn comes out

Would their next cycle be when iphone 3.0 comes out?

Maybe. I would assume they would do it when the 3.0 firmware came out, maybe not the new iPhone. I honestly have no idea though, so I guess we all have to wait and see what they manage to do.
