Any opinions on "300 bowl"?

Looks like a fun game, but the reviews in the app store are all over the place. They did update to 1.1 recently. Anyone have the game think its worth it?

v1.1:
1) Addition of click feedback sounds.
2) Save/Resume has been improved.
3) Initials on the 2nd player Highscore will now display correctly.
4) Ball will no longer pause a moment when you miss the pins.
5) Fixes display of the 8 pin.
6) Fixes the Y key on the intial entry keypad.
7) Menu size has been increased to space items for easier selection.
8) Improved applause sound.
9) Added "Strike" and "Spare" chimes.
10) Removed the -continue- message.
11) Adjustments to computer AI at higher difficulty levels.

It's one of the few games I seem to keep going to when I bored. My biggest gripe is I don't like the menu font. For $4 it was well worth it to me. But ymmv. The 1.1 updates were a nice improvement to BTW.

I like Flick Bowling a lot more and only need one bowling game on my iPhone at a time. 300 is simpler (which is often a good thing) but I prefer the competition overall.

I also have both Flick Bowling and 300 Bowl and much prefer Flick bowling. If I want to play a bowling game that is always the one I go to.

DO NOT BUY 300 BOWL! Just like everyone has said, flick bowling is so much much better than 300 BOWL! I almost immediately deleted it off my ipod after I got it.

It was a fun game, got it during a black friday sale for free, so I was extremely pleased, however, as previously stated, Flick Bowling is much more polished.

300 BOWL kept an old formula from Palm days... Flick Bowling is better with updated graphics and animations. I just wish more content, like a career mode, and real physics pin!

Gah, Flick Bowling is so overrated. All it's got over 300 bowl is cheesy animations in between frames which breaks up the flow of the game. Of course I'll be the only person here that thinks that. :)

Action bowling lite is a better version than both and is the only bowling game that has realistic pin action. Not sure why it's given a lite title though as it appears to be a full version and is NOT free (costs 99 cents).

Have u played Midnight Bowling? By far the best bowling in the app store. You can tilt the phone to influence the ball a little once thrown. Works well.

I used to like 300 bowl early on, but they ruined with the update(s). But MB is such a deeper game anyway. With Arcade mode, Story mode and a surprisingly fun Party mode - I played it endlessly for weeks.

I thought about getting midnight bowling, but 3 bowling games is 2 to many already. :) Only reason I got Action Bowling was I saw the lite title and figured I'd take a look at it's wii controls, wasn't till after I hit the buy button that I saw the 99 cents. :)

I used to like 300 bowl early on, but they ruined with the update(s).
If you don't like the new version you could switch to the old version. It is completly integrated in the current version (just tap on "2D" at the bottom of the screen).
