It's amazing to me how popular this stuff is.

Most people I know who have iPhones or Android phones who have no interest in gaming are either playing Angry Birds or Words with Friends.

But yea, a few co-workers have gotten Androids and now into Angry Birds.
Glad to see the game getting more attention from using other phones and it's actually become one of the main topics, other than work related stuff:rolleyes:.

3 Games, Windows, Mac and PSP ports, a board game, shirts, stuffed toys and characters recognisable by non gamers.. I think it's now safe to say that Angry Birds has officially reached "Mario status".Aren't they making a cartoon too?

I'm hoping for a live action Angry Birds film. That'll be right up there with the Super Mario Bros. movie.

I was just thinking what a horrible tragedy it is Lou Albano is dead because it would be perfect if they had him do the intro to the Angry Birds cartoon Super Mario Super Show style as Red Bird.

The super mario bros movie was actually suprisingly good! I laughed when i saw mushroom kingdom and it was like the slums with drug addicts! xD Still i too wouldn't be caught dead in these shirts

wonder how long it takes for angry birds to crash and burn.
they need to think of something else to keep it fresh...because they
are now going for the overkill :)
i guess its not a bad strategy ..its quite hot now..so might aswelll launch

I don't give two craps of any bandwagons that you might associate with these shirts. I said I like the shirts and they are cool. Any yea, I wouldn't mind having one.
Try simply reading the post instead of assuming there's more to it.

I think it still hasn't. Mario is a classic feature and Angry Birds is a popular trend for the moment. Only time will tell if it will become a classic in game history.

Sorry but I'm not one of the masses of sheep here.
....maybe a pig, or a bird...hah......but not one to go with what everyone else says. I tend to think for myself and not be swayed by what others post.

The game itself is far less relevant then their ability to market it. Now that everyone knows what it is they can keep expanding the brand well outside the scope of gaming for years to come. I've got my fingers crossed for Angry Birds cereal, Angry Birds brand malt liquor and an Angry Birds game show. They put Hole in the Wall on the air all over the world, I'm pretty sure it would work for Angry Birds. :p

I don't think it's a trend considering it's been rapidly going over what...a year? 8 months? And it's not showing any signs of stopping. I think Angry Birds will be with us for awhile in one form or another..
