Red sn0w melting beta

I do not have JB, but noticed Red Sn0w Beta is out for the 2nd gen ipod touch.

How is it? Anyone know?

Beta O'Clock
Today at exactly 2 minutes past Beta O’Clock we are releasing (http://redsn0w.com/) a beta version of redsn0w. The release hopes to simplify the jailbreaking of your iPod touch 2G.
redsn0w is currently in beta as it relies on the user running it from the command line, but this new redsn0w functionality is being added into our GUI applications.
If you are not fully confident with using the command line, then hold off for those simpler tools that will be released sometime soon.

The redsn0w (http://redsn0w.com/) site is now displaying the correct links, the error with the Windows package has been corrected and the torrent file has been updated. Windows users should download the torrent again to ensure that you have the correct version.
