i tried to jailbreak my ipotch 2nd gen with the new redsnow beta, it worked fint unill it got to the apple logo, i waited 10 minuites, i waited an hour, i waited all night. in the morning it is a brick, wont turn on past the apple boot logo, itunes dosent recignise it, wont go into dfu mode or recovery, my pc does recigniese it though, in my computer it says ipod touch,
if anyone can help me i wont have to take it back to the apple store

EDIT:
i got it into DFU mode and tried rejailbreaking it, i get the same result every time, how long does it take after you see the apple logo,

EDIT: tried restoring said no software avalible for this ipod so i used a old 2.2 copy i had, it is now restoring then redsn0w will be applied.
PS is there a differance between redsn0w and quickfreedom?

I would restore to original settings, before retrying jailbreak.

Ya, I should have put that in original post, you can't just restore, you need to do shift thing and find previous firmware. And to answer your last question, I think sort of. Like QuickFreedom is the start up and redsn0w is a patch, but redsn0w may also be a patch for RedTool. I am obviously not sure.

I haven't tried redsnow. I have tried their beta.
But I reccomend using QuickFreedom.
It's much easier, and has easy instructions.

Use QuickFreedom Not Redsnow.

Good to here, I would say that QuickFreedom is the easiest JB software.
