will a version of worms come out for iphone/ipod touch? it's such a popular game and the iphone's lack of buttons would not prove a problem.
could be a best seller i reckon.

anyone heard anything about it?

Worms on iPhone

TechRadar can also reveal that leading Britsoft developer, Team 17 Software also plans to bring Worms to the iPhone. Martyn Brown, studio director and the lauded designer behind one of our favourite long-running gaming franchises told us today: “I think [the SDK news] is a fantastic and positive move opening up the iPhone to developers, as it is a potentially tremendous device for casual games.

“We'll certainly be looking at ways we can bring something like our own Worms titles to the device.”

Looks like Worms is coming to the iPhone although I'm pretty sure there was a thread almost like this one...search much?

hard to blame a guy wanting more than just a simple news story from March of 2008, which is the only thing on this forum and still is. i would say seeing that it has already been 1year+ it might not be the most likely, but I hope I'm wrong.

Sorry, didn't see the date on my news. Well Dave's news seems a little more recent (April 1, 2009). There's also screenshots now so voila! Almost certain Worms is coming.
