Seems to be a day for tower defense games.

Anyway, I have to give credit to a Slide to Play tweet. If you download, GemCraft Free and then press "play", you can enter a code to unlock the full version. The code is "protector".

Worked for me and seems like a fun twist on TD games.

Heh, thought it was fake but I tried just in case and... yep, it did not work.

Cause the pass is wrong. The code is "defender"...oh wait...no it's not working :( :rolleyes:

Strange. Wonder if it was a one-time deal. Worked like a charm to me. Here's STP's tweet:

Sorry if it didn't work for you. If no one else can get it to work, guess the mods can delete this thread. BTW, the full game was unlocked for me, but the "free" icon was not replaced (kinda sucks, but not complaining about getting the full version).

A "Developer Console" text entry will come up.

Type "Protector"

You're right. I did get the "Developer Console" text entry. Funny thing is, I don't remember swiping from left to right. But guess I got lucky.

Even though it's the full version that gets unlocked, the 'FREE' banner on the App icon still irks me :D:p

It's an interesting and innovative technique...except from a business perspective, it's bizarre. Making your fans jump through hoops for free games isn't as sound as just dropping the price of the main app to free for a day. It also makes it much harder to promote. (case in point, the confusion earlier in this thread. Marketing promos should not require a set of instructions)
