Played it a bit, its a pretty standard time management game so far with a more masculine theme then most. Cost 2.99 to unlock full version. Interestingly when you decline to upgrade it gives a little survey asking why you didnt upgrade and one of the options is too expensive. i don't do much IAP but I have never seen that before.

Is Life Sentence some sort of scored "survival" mode? Like how long can you keep things in check before x prisoners escape?

A great game, tough, but fair. I am not into TM games, but this one caught my eye and I loved it. I feel though that $2.99 is a little steep, probably because I am hesitant that I am not much of a TM fan. I do recommend people DL it because it is a fun game. I may jump on board and purchase, but still playing the available levels for the elusive gold star. A great game and great work!

Just bought and I must say, the best purchase I made yet. A fun challenging game and now I am a fan of TM games. Thank you 99games for sucking away at all my free time, lol.

Yes, I know, but I tend to avoid IAP as far as possible since if the game is pulled for whatever reason the IAP content is lost to me forever should I uninstall the game from my idevice.

Is this still true, though? Since Apple has updated iTunes in preparation for iCloud, some long dead apps have returned to the store (via the new "Purchased" section). I wonder if any of these older, pulled apps had IAP where somebody could confirm?

Yes, this is what I'm interested to know too. Unfortunately I cannot think of any pulled apps with IAP.

I'm having fun with it so far and am not sure I follow you on the IAP stuff. I hate consumable IAPs as, yeah, if you ever had to reinstall the app all consumables are lost, but in a case like this, where an IAP is a permanent addition, it will always be tied to your account.

While it is essentially Diner Dash in prison, I do like how each type of prisoner has unique actions that need to be taken with them. My one whine so far is that it appears all prisoners, at least in the story mode, appear in a scripted order, I hope the Life Sentence Mode will mix stuff up (I haven't finished my first prison yet to unlock it).

Pulled Apps are NOT in the purchase list :(
So make sure you have them on your PC.

Some of them are (http://www.tuaw.com/2011/06/09/banned-apps-back-from-beyond-with-icloud/), but it's not clear if this is a mistake that will get corrected in the near future, or a change to Apple's policy. Until Apple confirms one way or the other, it's best to back everything up on iTunes, which is what I currently do.

I think, though, that LordGek is right in the case of games with IAP that unlock full game content. If you back up the game on iTunes and then delete the game from your device, you should be able to return the game to your device in the future and redownload the content in the app. However, for games with consumable IAP, like gold or coins or whatever, then you lose those IAPs forever when you delete the game. This is why I avoid all games with consumable IAPs.
