What are the best graphics you've seen on the iPhone or iPod Touch ?

Games are getting better and better on these devices. Some games could even be compared to PSP games. I was windering what are the most impressive ones you've seen so far (or coming soon):

Here's mines for performance:

Number 1: Supercross 2XL (by far)
Number 2: Glider (could use more variety but still awesome)
Number 3: Heroes Of Sparta (even through the frame rate is far from perfect)

And for artistic work:

Number 1: iDracula
Number 2: 1112
Number 3: Abigale

I know it's been a while, but according to http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=5908, the previous winner was Zen Bound.
Runners up are Sway, Hero of Sparta, Fastlane.
Of course that's only 3D games.

For now, I'd say Supercross 2XL, Zen Bound, Sway.

Glyder doesn't have much details, it looks crude and I personally prefer Nanosaurs.

Assassin's Creed hopefully has smooth framerate. I'm getting sick of Gameloft's beautiful screenshots yet choppy framerate.

I think that Gameloft's Ferrari game has the best graphics I've seen on the iPhone. The level of detail is easily comparable to the original Xbox or the PS2.

I have a 2nd gen ipod touch. The game is beautiful and runs very smooth.

If you have an iphone 1st gen or just an iphone in general, it won't run fast as the ipod touch version, especially the first gen.

Sorry but i cant let you state this point without reacting, the only pixelated artifact we have on ExZeus is due to the texture hardware compression which is the same for everybody, this is a known limitation of the PVRT texture compression when using alpha or transparency, it has nothing to do with ExZeus. We have a bunch of special effect in ExZeus using alpha or transparancy so the game is more exposed to such of texture artifact than let's say another game using just opaque texture. Usualy you do just notice it on a still screenshot picture but can hardly be detected when playing the game as long as the framerate is smooth which is the case in ExZeus.

The only way to avoid those little artifact is to use 32 bits texture but then you are wasting bunch of memory and bandwidth and can't reach the framerate we did achieve in this game, so i really doubt a "tweak" as you said can fix this problem, however if you have some, please feel free to share.

Yes, it is possible to develop such of game with our technology, however looking at the top sales, i am not quite sure there is the market for polished Arcade Game, people are more into 2D simple game pickup & play for everybody (no offense), and with 0 support from Apple toward company like us, this would be too risky....iSperm ranked a lot better than a complete game like ExZeus in the "Arcade" section does not really motivate, let's wait and see if Apple can give solid support to developer and then we'll move.

NFS fo' sho. Zen Bound... well, it has the entirity of the iDevice's processing power focusing on one object, not that impressive. The nitro effect when upgraded to the max is mesmerizing.

I recalibrated it, turned the volume off, and rebooted the ipod. Only thing that works is turning off horizon tilt, which then turns me off from the game. Seriously it was my favorite game, until all this, and it's not like they can submit a "quick fix" cause it takes weeks right now to push an update through. I'm bumming man, like bad!!! Firemint claims it's due to the volume but that is frankly untrue in this case. I loved the stability and over all quality the game showed, and now it's runs like every other iphone app. Shakey, jumpy, twitchy, and generally displeasing to look at. I tried to get past it, and not be a whiny bitch, but I paid $10 good dollars expecting a top notch game, and now it's garbage. I know not everyone is experiencing this problem, so I won't bash firemint, but I do hope they fix this fast. I feel completely screwed.

When you say it shakes and wobbles, what do you mean? Is it choppy in frame rate? Or is it not responding to your tilting?

When the device is layed flat, and I take my hands off it, the whole screen wobbles left and right, and the longer I leave it the worse it gets. To where at times the thing is JUMPING left and right. The whole scene twitchs. It's not from frame drops, and like I said I can get it to go away if I turn off horizon tilt, but the game just doesn't feel the same that way. So yeah, unless firemint fixes it, it's a ten dollar pretty icon.
