yeah thats something we can do.. as you might have guessed, we're a bit reluctant to do that for iAP reasons. But it is in our interest to make core players of the game happy so its not totally out the window. I guess what im trying to get at here is... we want to see if core players who play in the last dungeon will be happy just by the competition aspect of it on game center. If we decide that its not enough, we'll provide other incentives like that. We want the infinite dungeon to be there to prolong the life of the game until we introduce online battle.
Heh, might be a bit too tough. If it were up to me, I'd probably put 1 gold egg on every 10th floor, or maybe 1 every 5 floors after 50
Its on the 104th floor.... is that too hard maybe? I should give a bunch more Gold Eggs as reward.... I cheated with all level 99 creatures to get there so I may have made it too hard :P
I like the idea, I wouldn't be offended.
What level is the dragon on? I'm at like level 72 (it's hard down there!) and still haven't found it.
I think there is the last Dragon in there with a Gold Egg. Gold for multiplayer battle would be great for IAP I agree. Kind of like online pocker almost. It wouldnt come off as inappropriate you think? Our worry is that its too much like gambling. Definitely something we are curious about though, not gonna lie
By the way, I have now finished all the quests and got the Time totem from level 54 of the infinite dungeon. Any more surprises in there? By the way, your idea to risk your monsters in the multiplayer gives me an idea. You should be able to enter multiplayer games for gold where you win both entries. That way people would win gold off eachother for eggs, and you would likely sell IAP for gold (make like a 5G, 10G, 20G, 50G &100G games).
Thats something we thought about too, but due to the way its set up right now trying to implement that now might be messy. But its def on the list for an update
I think it would be a good idea for the status effects (sleep, paralyze etc...) to play a role in the capture of monsters. Like in Pokemon, the likelihood should increase with effects.
yeah we had to adjust that a little bit. we didn't want to give away rare monster at the beginning of the game. but as you will see, if you capture rare monsters in the wild, you will see more rare monsters on the wheel. its a factor of what you have. If you have a monster that is say, rarity of 4, you wont see monster that are rarity 10 on the wheel. instead you will see ones with rarity 5.
I have to say, I really dislike the giant nerf to the prize wheel. Nobody wants to get slimes and bat squirrels as prizes. I liked being able to get a rare monster. Other than the crappy prizes, I'm really liking the polished feel of the new version. But now I have to go back and redo everything before I get to all the new areas.
