Just wanted to introduce myself! My name is Lauren Ellis and my husband, brother and I started up an indie gaming company. Our first game is going to be an RPG monster catching game called Deozoa. We are really nervous about the marketing side of things, so I'm excited about this group!

Have anyone tried integrating their app with openfeint?(now known as GREE) Is it effective in helping your app to gain downloads/discovery?

The biggest problem I find is marketing (really can't afford to spend any cash on it) and getting reviews of the games (which do get great reviews thou when they do get reviews).

So it looks like people are introducing themselves here. I am a game developer and the dir. of communications for Soma Games and Code-Monkeys. We have many titles (probably nearing 100) on iOS and other stores but the ones we are most proud of are G:into the rain, Bok Choy Boy and soon within the next week Wind Up Robots. What I would love to see here is some sharing of intel as far as game promotion and marketing goes, what you have seen work and what has not. Things are constantly changing and having years under my belt I know I still have plenty to learn as well as things to learn from all of you. Anyway cheers and good to meet all of you!
