Dodreams is a small game studio based in Helsinki, Finland. We are happy to share progress on CARDBOARD CROOKS here on Toucharcade.

Its a free mini-game we're submitting for review on the App Store this week.

Here are our latest screenshots explaining what the game is about

Our inspiration was gangster movies and cardboard targets at shooting ranges.

The games tests your speed and accuracy as you tap the screen to hit the right targets. Just don't hit the innocent bystanders. You can pick up extra lives from secret spots and special weapons with skill shots. There is no pay-to-win or pay-to-get-top-score mechanic in the game. ;)

Since Cardboard Crooks is purely a skill-based game, we figure people might want to share their top score with friends. It also serves as a challenge. Your friends can get the game and try to beat your high score.

We are developing a series of free mini-games like this. We already have two out on the App Store (Balloon Dolly and Ice Hole Fishing) and there will be 20 more by the end of the summer.

I'm the CEO of the company and I'm happy to discuss this project with you guys!

Update on App Store review process

Our game was rejected first because we set the age limit to 9+, which Apple's review team considered too low. According to them, the game has "Frequent/Intense" & "Realistic Violence". So, we're giving it another go now with 12+.

Anyone else have experience with age limits?
