I may or may not have just received my iPad 2 finally (after a month of patient waiting ), and now I'm interested in what all it has to offer. I ignored it for so long, but now it's time to pay attention! So what are some great iPad games? Anything you would recommend? I can't promise I will buy any of the recommendations (trying to start over with a clean slate and not go totally ape**** crazy with apps like I did with my iPhone), but I am curious what kind of stuff I've been missing out on over the past year or so. Some games that are specifically optimized for the ipad with enhanced graphics/AA are: Infinity Blade Real Racing 2 HD Dead Space also Asphalt 6 but this is the worst of all due to a lack of AA. But it is on sale for .99 right now! Personally Ive played through Infinity Blade numerous times and the graphics are amazing.
Welcome to the iPad 2 fam! - World of Goo HD. - Max and the Magic Marker HD. - Spider: Bryce Manor HD. - Bug Heroes(currently free and plays very well on the big screen)! - Fruit Ninja HD. - 100 Rogues(plays different on iPad). - Dungeon Defenders(lag free and awesome using the iPad 2 hardware). - Infinity Blade(it looks better, plays better, but gets boring and repetitive after a while). * Flipboard. Though it's not a game, it's probably one of the best put together iPad apps available and it's free. * GarageBand. Solid music app whether your into music or not.
Thank you for all the suggestions! And thank you for the warm welcome to the family. The iPad is a beast so far. The battery is omgamazing, especially compared to my 3GS which can't be used for more than 2 hours for games or web surfing XD I already picked up Infinity Blade on the iPhone so I redownloaded that. And I picked up Sword and Sworcery straight out of the gate. That game is boss. I shall check out all these other suggestions, too! Question about Orbital, though: It's not on the app store anymore! D:
I've been an iPhone and iPad player for ages, here are some of the best games I've played: World of Goo Dead Space (you have to get it if you haven't already, totally amazing. Battleheart Nova 2 (fps games seems a lot easier on the iPad, I owned the crap out of everyone on my iPad) Final Fantasy III (the iPad version haunt come out yet, but I find it a lot better to play on the iPad than the iPhone. Really awesome game if you like RPGs)
