This system however sure does sound ALOT like CROSS x BEATS (iOS Japan only), but I don't think it'll be nearly as brutal. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,064 1,340 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #7 metalcasket, Dec 17, 2015 We suck it up and say "Oh well, at least I got to play it before everyone else did"... ...except for the fact that the game wasn't working 3/4 of my time with it and the other fourth (after the GC requirement for the entire game was removed), I was left still being unable to play GHTV (the meat of the game) and was left with the worst ####ing setlists in the entire history of rhythm games. Yeah, $50 well spent. IOSgamer1980 Well-Known Member Nov 6, 2015 432 2 18 #8 IOSgamer1980, Dec 17, 2015 What's this currency talk? Are there freemium elements? If so, we're they added with this sale? neku233 Active Member Jan 23, 2014 30 0 6 #9 neku233, Dec 17, 2015 For those who don't know the console version had an on demand section where you could play any song in the GH TV setlist using a currency called plays you can earn plays by using coins (which are earned by playing the game) to buy plays or by using a premium currency call HC or Hero Cash Dailon80 Well-Known Member Nov 10, 2014 3,574 66 48 Program Director/Radio DJ Eos #10 Dailon80, Dec 17, 2015 For the complainers that they bought it for 50$. Check this out What about the time you got a pair of jeans for 20$ that were normally 80$ Someone paid 80$ but we don't hear that person complaining about it. What about the guy that got my TV on Black Friday for 300$ less than I paid etc list goes on and that's how consumerism works. Sales happen sometimes you get the good deal sometimes you would be better to wait it out. No reason to whine about it just accept it and move on. Not trying to be an arse but it's true prices change. Exact-Psience Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 22,664 2 38 The Work-At-Home Guy Philippines #11 Exact-Psience, Dec 17, 2015 Yeah... I dont get these guys who got it at full then complain when the price drops. During that time when a person decides to purchase something, he or she made a decision that the price is acceptable, hence, the purchase. If the price drops a day later, it may be a bit disappointing, but it shouldnt mean pitchforks aimed at the sellers. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,064 1,340 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #12 metalcasket, Dec 17, 2015 No offense guys, but I have every right in the world to complain. It's right up there. I've put maybe 2 hours into the game total and I've been locked out of literally half of the game since Day Two. This might not be Activision's problem per se (Apple ####ed up with Game Center), but I have every godamn right in the world to bitch about spending $50 on a pair of jeans that didn't fit. dreadnok Well-Known Member Jun 8, 2011 4,157 7 38 I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum I'm ou #13 dreadnok, Dec 17, 2015 He he don't mind me, just throwing kerosene onto this fire Dailon80 Well-Known Member Nov 10, 2014 3,574 66 48 Program Director/Radio DJ Eos #14 Dailon80, Dec 17, 2015 You are the persons opinion I trust most on here Metalcakset and I'm an idiot cuz I forgot about the Game Center problem so in effect you got screwed and that is diff than my dumb example. But $40? Yeah, I think I'd be pissed about that too. We're not talking the usual buck or two. I almost got it today and like I said I don't think it's right and yet I bitched on here about people complaining about it but Metalcakset made me have a change of heart on it. It's my choice. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,064 1,340 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #18 metalcasket, Dec 17, 2015 That's really, really flattering. I hope I've not steered you wrong. Oh, and you don't need to be apologizing. You and EP are entirely true. No one forced anyone to buy this at $50. It's just that the Game Center bug ruined everything, still isn't fixed and the timing of this sale with the problem being ever-present is just completely unfortunate. Then again, this really isn't the platform for console-like prices and I'm super interested to see if Activision go back to $50 once the sale's over. I don't blame them for dropping the price and certainly don't blame anyone for taking advantage of the sale...it's all just unfortunate. Anyways, I've finally deleted the game. Like I said earlier, the songs in Live! are pretty much the worst possible songs to put in a guitar oriented game, it takes up 3GB of space, needs a constant connection, streams literally every video in the game (in both sections), needs GC to run properly and uses up RIDICULOUS amounts of battery. If I want to play it, I'll shell out for the PS4 version. Mobile is not the platform for this game. Then again, put a completely untouched GH: Metallica port on iOS and take ALL my money. All of it. Dailon80 Well-Known Member Nov 10, 2014 3,574 66 48 Program Director/Radio DJ Eos #19 Dailon80, Dec 17, 2015 My daughter and I love the Metallica one and have it on console! One of the best bands ever and a staple of my childhood. Honestly the space it takes up at this point is not cool I needed that space for Shadowgate and so glad I didn't get it cuz I would've deleted it for Shadowgate anyway Can't believe how updated the graphics are but also can't wait to play it the old way. I'm actually having a little trouble with new way so may do retro first to jog my memory either way it's a better game to me. And lately everytime I buy a game it goes on sale the next week oh and here's a burn got MHFU and two days later couldn't play it F$ck capcom they won't get crap from me again especially since that sh$$ version of MH is still up. ghost is my band right now love those guys and how they play the old school metal.
