One of the best Windows Phone 7 games is coming soon to iOS, Android and Windows 8, it is The Harvest by Luma Arcade - the creator of Bladeslinger and co-creator of Bounty Arms. The Harvest was released on Windows Phone 7 in 2010 and will be released on the above mentioned platforms sometimes in 2013.

Is this more arena based than mission based ? Game looks great i just hope its not arena after arena.

This is a game made for single-core, underpowered devices that belong to the previous century. Nothing great here guys. Move on.

PS: I'm eagerly awaiting their other games - Bounty Arms & Racer! - and hope they don't waste too much time on this pointless exercise.

There are some gameplay videos of the WP7 version of the game on YouTube, you can watch them! :)

Some Android users say that Racer is not a good game - awesome graphic but poor gameplay. What about Core? I think Bounty Arms and Core are their best games! For The Harvest, I hope that the iOS version will be much better than the WP7 one! :D

ANd since when was the game out on Android, dude?

Update: Ok, I looked it up. It is an Xperia Play exclusive, and ONLY contains one track - the rest listed as "coming soon". This is 18 months ago!

Bit OTT ? From the looks of the video it looks good. Theres lots of games which look far more basic , eg retro games that some people may say belong in another century !

This looks fine, just interested in how it plays. All because you obviously arent a fan you shouldnt post stuff like that.

Ok, my post may have been cynical, but all I was saying is that The Harvest was created for Windows Phone 7 devices that really lacked any form of power - single core devices clocked at something like 600 MHz.

Yes, they make scale things up, but by how much? This game was created for the WP7 audience, and now with quad cores and dual core A15s, you get so many better ones out there. This won't feel "original" on iOS and Android since these were never the target audiences.

    Hey guys,

Chiming in on Luma's behalf here since we've worked a bit on this title together. The Harvest was an extremely well-reviewed single player, sci-fi RPG released in 2010 exclusively on Windows Phone 7 and published by Microsoft Game Studios.

    Some articles:
    http://www.edge-online.com/features/windows-phone-7-luma-arcade/http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/15/microsoft-announces-windows-phone-7-series-dev-partners-sling/

    http://www.bestwp7games.com/the-harvest-review.html

Luma hasn't spoken much publicly about what is happening with the IP, but Microsoft recently announced that it will be coming to Windows 8 this Winter. Here's what I can add to that...

The game that is going to be released anew, titled "The Harvest" on Windows 8 is, in typical Luma Arcade fashion, as visually impressive as anything ever seen on mobile devices. The screens and other content out there for public consumption right now are over 2 years old. Think about how much better, faster, stronger mobile devices have gotten in that time. We're talking about devices in the iPhone 3GS range of performance, at the high end. There should be new screens, video, and other stuff surfacing from Microsoft Game Studios over the next couple months, and of course, with the release of the game.

It's worth noting as well that the gameplay has major revamps. And there is a lot of new content. And... yes, the team definitely wants to bring The Harvest to iOS / Android as well.

Stay tuned to @lumaarcade for updates, and if you have a Windows 8 PC or Tablet (ARM or X86), you're going to want to check this game out.
