What percentage of the profits do developers get?

    Say a game was $0.99 - how much of that would they get per sale? And does the percentage change for each price point?

    It's 70%, with even more taken out in many non-US countries for taxes.

    Japan get's an extra 20% also, unless you fill out a 60 page form in roughly translated english

    All that's before you get paid - you need to factor in wire transfer fees, currency exchange, and income tax after the fact. Money-in-your-pocket can easily be lower than 50% the sale price depending on where you're from and where you're selling.
