I'm thankful for Minigore's data loss crash to be updated so quickly, but I didn't get 100,000 kills, a free character, or Openfeint characters unlocked like they said I would in the description. Do I need Wi-Fi, or something?
I'm assuming you have an iPod since your asking about wifi, than the answer is yes you need to connect to he Internet and log into open feint so the game can unlock everything.
for the 100k kills, you need to have the old bugged version on your ipod. run a game on it and have it delete your save game. you then patch it via itunes letting your ipod sync and write over the bugged update.
I WAS affected by the data loss, and had the old bugged version on my iPod. Then I updated it. I was able to save the game, but I didn't get anything.
So if I can never get any characters back on Minigore, I'm debating whether to delete Minigore forever off my iPhone and computer, or just waste all my time starting over again.
you dont need OF to get the 100,000points but i think to get the 100,000 points you need to of updated to the bugged version and then updated from that to the current version (the fix) might be same with OF unlocking characters but not sure
Update from 3.6 -> no 100,000 kills and no bonus character New install after deletion -> no 100,000 kills and no bonus character The only way to get 100,000 kills and bonus character is updating from 3.7 to 3.71
and what sucks worse is that dirty jack sparrows (pirates) can download 3.7 via a illegal manor, then update in itunes with 3.71 and get all the new characters.....booooooo
