    Hi,

My girlfriend and I are going on a road trip tomorrow. Can you kindly recommend any apps that we can play together in the car? We played a guitar riff quiz game that we liked, but I'm not into the name that tune type games that rely on my itunes library.

    Thanks for your help!

that you can BOTH play? hmm. well tap tap revenge 1/2 has a multiplayer mode, and thats free. Theres also lots of connect four, air hockey, etc other board games that would be fun (especially monopoly) and a bunch are free.

So you can have one hand on the wheel while you have the other on the screen and your girlfriend can help as well.
How else are you going to both be playing and driving at the same time?

This brings up memories of playing Monopoly on my Sega Nomad in the car years ago. We'd pass and play except for the driver - as people took their turns they would tell everyone else what was going on: "landed on ZZZ, bought 2 houses on YYY, etc" and the driver would just tell whoever was holding the Nomad what they wanted to do. Worked out very well, actually.

In the car was one of the best uses for that Nomad, as you could use a power adapter from the cigarette lighter. That thing was awesome, but would eat through 6 AA batteries in about 3 hours. (Next best use - impromptu 4-player Bomberman at Thanksgiving! :D)
