Thanks davidb... always nice when someone appreciates the effort :)

Now then... can anybody point me in the direction of how I make my video and pictures appear in the posting, rather than as text links.

    ...cheers :)

    A useful link:

    http://forums.toucharcade.com/misc.php?do=bbcode

There's a section about videos. For the pics, you can either use the yellow button in the dashboard to include a pic on another website, or include the pics as an attachement.

Thanks for that link XperimentalZ. Got it bookmarked for future use.

After what has to be one of the quickest approvals ever.. 3 days waiting, 4 hours in review... the game is now live on the Appstore!

Looks like the author just spammed the game and left, doesn't seem to respond to any questions. Too bad because the game looks cool

    It's been done? http://www.attackpinball.com/

Zombies, aliens, nazis. Let's kill something different one of these days.

    How about:
clowns, hippies, bank execs, tv reality stars, cable news anchors, falafel vendors, crepe makers

    How about:
forum posters. Where it could actually cull the names (+avatar?) from a forum you visit.

Double post! And yeah you kill most of those in Earthbound and Mother 3 but that doesn't count.

@Shempster ... sorry, for not replying immediately.... the game was made with GameSalad.

@Jeffy777 ...working on an iPad version. Should be available in a couple of weeks.

@Athos ...yup, I hear you...zombies arent the most original subject matter, but people do seem to like them. Im planning on expanding on the basics of the pinball engine with future updates to Zombie Pinball, that I can then re-use to create a more complex WW2 Tank battle themed pinball game, with detailed rendered graphics.

Ive got a stack of other things to catch up on first though, and need to see how well this game is received first...!

Oh... and whats the etiquette for posting in the New Release Thread, if youve already posted in the Upcoming thread? Would like to get a more visible version of a post with proper working video links etc, but obviously dont want to be double posting... cheers

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking forward to the iPad version.

I would think it would be fine to post in the New Release thread now that the game is actually out. I think that's the way it's intended to work.

    Just picked this up.

Very addictive little game, and looks gorgeous too! Perfectly set atmosphere, and I'm a sucker for pinball games!

One tiny criticism would be to make the 'hit boxes' for the flipper buttons bigger.

The graphics can stay the same, but you could even make it so that the left side of the screen activates the left flippers, right side right flippers.

Other than that, nice one. Enjoying it! :D

    Haha!

You seem obsessed with *how* a game's made when really it shouldn't have any bearing on the final product!

Either it's a good game or a bad game! End of story!

    QS :D

@Quantumsheep glad you like the game, and thanks for the suggestion regarding increasing the size of the touch areas... I'll make sure that its in the update Im currently putting together.

@Shempster ...yup, I was almost reluctant to admit to using GameSalad, as I know its not had the best reputation. It is a pretty good tool though, and is capable of producing decent games, with a little love and effort :)

iPad version submitted, and waiting for review...so should hopefully be available in around a weeks time.

Also submitted version 1.2 for iphone which should reduce the app size to under 20mb.

    ...cheers :)
