I was wondering if I should buy Ipod Touch 5g.
Honestly,i don't consider it a great improvement, because it has older tech in it.

Is it's real life performance good?

Also,is it future proof when it comes to gaming?

Nothing is future proof. Get that thoroughly ensconced in your mind.

If you're upgrading from a 4th gen iPod the performance boost will be very noticeable, gaming will be a lot smoother.

However, the A5 chip is slowly being phased out, expect the touch 5 to be decent for the next year and compatible for the next two. I would buy it if you're upgrading from the iPod 4; with that cheap price it's a no brainer.

I think it depends on what games you want play on it.
    It's enough for me.
