Swordigo is pretty great and free Most Kemco RPGs will work- my favorites being the Alphadia series Spiderman Total Mayhem is a classic Final Freeway 2 Infinity Blade 1.. maybe 2 The Quest is still out there Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 so many great titles stil work on ios 5+6 let me know what types of games you like
It seems like so many games break with new iOS versions, and if developers are no longer supporting them, we're just SOL. I have my 4S still, and would like to load it up with "classic" games that no longer work in iOS 7 or 8, or games that will likely never get widescreen support. What iOS version would people recommend, and the. what great games are ideal for it?
Dungeon raid and swords and poker 2 I have those on my iPhone 6 but pretty sure they will run on your iPod. They are still 2 of my favorites.

The PlayNice version of Any Landing should work on 6.1 although it might be pushing a 4th gen iPod a bit. SlotZ Racer 2 HD, SlotZ Racer Caterham Special, Apple Bob HD are all still iOS 5.1 compatible and SnapMatch Soccer is 6.1 compatible. Although as we do our next round of updates, we'll probably be setting at least iOS 7.1 as base and possibly 8.4 now iOS 9 is out (although the current versions will still be useable on older devices if you've already purchased/downloaded them).
