I think maybe they are hoping that their games will be more profitable by making them free, getting lots of people to download them and then they'll make their money from people buying IAP. The new free to play Sim game is coming soon so give people a example of what it will be like but with more focus on IAP for the free to play. Also Nfs the run is coming too so that would explain giving Shift away, another " hey this was fun so go get are new one!" Or it could be the Christmas spirit... I downloaded World Adventures when it was free and deleted it after 10 minutes. This one stands to have the same fate. The promise of swords and magic is just not enough to make it interesting. sbxsat Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2011 207 0 0 #12 sbxsat, Dec 2, 2011 I have World Adventures and found it quite pleasant. I read that the app version has a limited amount of things you can do compared with the PC version but you can't expect a direct port from PC to idevices as the file would be huge. Still, the app version lets you export your character from one Sim game to another so if you have WA then you should also get Sims Medieval. My advice is if you enjoyed the other Sims app then go ahead and get this. It's free anyway mjracca New Member Dec 2, 2011 4 0 0 #13 mjracca, Dec 3, 2011 Did someone play this version? How was it?
