So Apple's put out the fix for the security issues that have been coming out. Why hell can't they figure how to apply these things as hot fix patches???

A 13.6 MB update requires us to have 834 MB free?

I did a full restore then re-jailbroke 7.0.6. It took 15 minutes to download the 7.0.6 "patch" and the whole restore process took an additional 20 minutes. Al that time for a minor upgrade via iTunes/PC.

Yes. But you must also get the updated evasi0n utility from the evaders official site (version 1.0.6) for it to work with iOS 7.0.6.

Depends. If you use public Wi-Fi hotspots like me, then its worth upgrading to be on the safe side. If you just use your own, your safe..ish. Just don't do banking online if your worried about hackers etc.

    Why wouldn't you update?

If space is the problem, I have some bad news for you: leaving less that 3-5% of your phone's filesystem free is going to cause noticeable slowdowns for the OS anyways.

Always. The only reason not to get an update is if your device is jailbroken and you don't want to lose it.

Update now so you dont have to update to 7.1 later(in which Apple will probably patch the jailbreak)

It fixes a big security flaw. You should update. If you are jailbroken I think you need to do a restore in order to update, definitely not an OTA update. I mean restore from your backup - make sure you have one.

I have 7.0.6 and am jailbroken now and it works great.

I wish there would be an update that would keep safari from constantly crashing on ipad air.
