I'm one of the developers who worked on Slashy Hero; an isometric action rpg where a great evil has stolen all the sweets in the world, and its down to you to save Halloween! What makes this game so cool! Besides being able to dress up as your favorite characters and monsters, Slashy Hero has a really fresh way of fighting your enemies! You simply draw a line on the screen, and your hero will slash along that path, vaporizing any ghost, skeleton or monster along the way! It's incredibly satisfying to draw a path and watch 20 enemies burst into sweets. What else does the game have? We got 30 costumes to choose from. Each costume has 3 parts(A head, body and weapon). That's 90 parts in total! There's even rare costumes that only the fiercest of enemies will drop. And perhaps some that you may even recognize from your favorite stories! The game also has 36 levels to play through! Every level is custom designed and you may even meet fearsome bosses along the way. On top of all that, Slashy Hero has an Infinite Dungeon mode where the game gives you a random level and pits a never ending wave of enemies on you. Post your high scores online and see who is the toughest Hero of all! Best of all? Its all completely free! Hey, all our ads are completely optional as well! We want you to have the best experience possible! It means that much to us! Right now the game is almost done. We are hard at work at fine tuning the mechanics, adding more costumes and making the game as polished as possible! We're aiming for a Halloween 2015 release, and are confident we can hit it! Looks like you have already put quite a bit of work into this game. I like the design and the swipe controls. Also being able to adjust your characters appearance is also good. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! We are very excited to finish it and let everyone try it out! Thank you too! Do check back often to see updates! Our thoughts exactly! For now, the idea is still floating around. We currently only have ads, as we feel that is the best middle ground for a happy player and a happy developer. Just wondering, would you prefer IAP in the game?
Doesn't sound like you intend to make this game an aggressive money grab, so I'm sure this will do well. IAP would just be to get along faster, and i notice I'm more likely to buy IAP when: the range is small (i.e. $1-$10 max range), and you get a lot for your money. I think I've spent at least $15 extra on games with IAP built like this, because you don't feel forced and if the game is good you feel it's worth it.
iap to remove ads. You could have a tiered iap page so people could pick what they want to pay. Game looks super fun!

Slashy Hero Concept Art Hi again! Here are some concept art from Slashy Hero! Hope you all enjoy! First Sketch for Slashy Hero This was the first ever sketch for the game. Slashy Hero did not start off as isometric, in fact, we wanted to do a top down angle game like the original Zelda games. Thinking back, it would have been ALOT easier if we did! Final concepts for Slashy Hero These were when the look and feel of the game really started to come together. The artists at Gentlebros felt an isometric approach was more unique and more appealing. It would really set Slashy Hero apart from the rest. Our idea was that the dungeons wouldn't be typical castle hallways or damp prisons, but more something you would find in a mansion. The idea was that the hero was trick or treating a mansion on Halloween, so this idea fit really well! Our art guide Slashy Hero was primarily done by two artists. For that we needed the art styles of both artists to be consistent, so we made an art guide. This would show some of the thinking and art decisions made by our artists. Thank you! Yes we will have the option for players to earn new costumes by finding them in the game or finding them from treasure chests. Eventually, we will also have a store for players to purchase new costumes/characters with in game currency. We are still deciding if we want players to spend real money, but its based on whether we have the resources to or not! However, its definitely something we are looking at!
